Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Unwindly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

Description of Service

Unwindly is a journaling application that provides:

• Structured journaling tools inspired by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Mood tracking and pattern recognition
• Validated mental health questionnaires (PHQ-9, GAD-7, PSS-10, WHO-5)
• Breathing exercises and relaxation tools
• Optional encrypted sync between devices (Pro feature)

Unwindly is a self-help tool, not a medical device or therapy replacement.

• The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Content is for informational and self-help purposes only
• The App is not a substitute for professional mental health care
• If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or a mental health crisis line immediately

License and Usage

What You Can Do

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Create unlimited journal entries
• Use all features included with your purchase
• Export your personal data

What You Cannot Do

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App to develop competing products
• Remove any proprietary notices from the App

Purchases and Payments

One-Time Purchase

Unwindly is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The purchase grants you a perpetual license to use the App on your devices.

Pro Sync Subscription (Optional)

Pro Sync is an optional subscription that enables encrypted synchronization across multiple devices. Subscription terms:

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. Generally, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if the App doesn't work as described.

Your Data

• You own all content you create in the App
• Your data is stored locally on your device by default
• We do not access, read, or analyze your journal entries

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App
• We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information from the App

Updates and Changes

• We may update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance
• We may modify these Terms with reasonable notice
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate access for users who violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
