Diagnostic Recording

You've been sent this link because Unwindly support is helping you diagnose an issue. Tapping the button below tells the app to record a detailed log while you reproduce the problem. Nothing leaves your device automatically โ€” you choose when to share.

Start recording in Unwindly

This link is missing a reference code. Please contact support for a new link.

Before you start

  • Open this page on the iPhone that has Unwindly installed.
  • Make sure you're signed in and can reach the screen where the issue happens.
  • You can keep using the app normally โ€” recording runs in the background.

What happens next

  1. Tap Start recording in Unwindly. iOS will ask to open the app.
  2. The app will ask you to force-close and reopen Unwindly. This is required for issues that only happen at launch.
  3. A red banner appears at the top of every screen: "๐Ÿ”ด Diagnostic recording ยท Share".
  4. Go reproduce the issue exactly as you did before.
  5. When the problem has happened, tap the red banner to open the share sheet and send the log file to support.
  6. To stop recording without sharing, long-press the banner and confirm.

Privacy

  • The log stays only on your device until you tap Share. Unwindly does not upload it automatically.
  • Recording auto-stops after 1 hour even if you forget, so it won't run indefinitely.
  • Logs contain technical information to diagnose bugs (screens visited, errors, timings). They do not contain your journal entries or moods.

If anything is unclear, email support@unwindly.app and mention your reference code.
